PART I
How is the idea for kissing each other on the stage originated?
Strify: Sometimes one is overwhelmed by his passion and emotions and then you want to share the adrenalin with the others on stage.
Yu: I had a strong feeling that Kiro needed some affection .-)
Kiro: Things happen. Besides I really like kissing exceedingly ;D
Actually where from comes the BANDNAME Cinema Bizarre?
Strify: The word „bizarre“ was the decisive factor. Many people take a look at us and ask themselfes why we are looking so strange. A whole bunch of them have negative feelings about it. But in our point of view we are very normal people. With the word „bizarre“ we want to give our sight a positive meaning. In the internet we found an exploitation from the 70ties that was called „Bizarre Cinema". We switched the words and our babe had its perfect title. Cinema Bizarre – it is not only meant to be listened to but to be seen as well – as movies.
Shin: Cinema stands for our interest in movies and visual effects. We call ourselfes “Bizarre“ because other people often think we are strange.
Yu: The name appeared from the movies, the movies we see in our heads, in this bizarre world we are living in day by day.
Kiro: We are five very different charcters and together we want to offer real big CINEMA to the world! You shouldn`t see 'Bizarre' as a negative word – we consider it in a very positive way.
How did you get your artist's names and what do they mean?
Strify: Yu gave me my name. I reminded him of a character named „Cloud Strife“ from „Final Fantasy“. From that on he called me „Strify“.
Shin: I got my name from friends. They thought I had an affinity with Shinya (He is playing in an Japanese Band).
Yu: My name has different roots. On one hand side one of my favourite Mangaka-characters is Yukiru Sugisaki. On the other side there were a few Manga-/Anime-Charakteres called Yuki and they always suited me. From Yukiru or Yuki we generated later on simply Yu because of the style.
Kiro: I`m named after Strify's Plush-Monkey which is called Siro. That was chenged later on into Kiro!
How did it appear that Luminor left the band? Is their still any communication between Luminor and the Band?
Strify: Luminor was always a loner. He needed more open space for himself that he ever thought himself. He couldn`t cope with the situation on long terms. That made him sick in a way, so he decided to leave the band.
Kiro: Luminor felt very bad! We hope that he is going to feel better soon! Sometimes we´re still in contact.
Shin: His health has deteriorated. That was why he had to leave the band. Sometimes we have contact to each other.
Yu: He did not find peace with himself. I hope he is getting along now!
How did Romeo find his way to CINEMA BIZARRE after Luminor had left the band?
Yu: In a way Romeo was there from the very beginning.He is a good friend of mine. He was already able to play our songs and had offered his help before at some concerts. He was the best choice!
Kiro: We knew Romeo for a long time. He is a very good friend of Yu that is how we got to know each other! Whenever there were any problems he was there. We are very happy that he is now part of the band!
Is it true that Luminor is already working on a new music-project?
Strify: I know nothing about it, but I wish him all the best on his way!.
Kiro: He never informed me about it! But I hope he finds his way and I wihsh him luck on his upcoming way!
Have there ever been any moments you feared you fans? In what kind of situation did you feel that way?
Strify: Fans never frightened me. I do not fear a single person. But if you are sitting in a car and it is surrounded by crowds of people that can be a little bit intimidating.
Yu: Somtimes ;-). When we are not getting through the crowd by bus for example, because the fans are simply everythere. In a way this is very exciting and otherwise you ask yourself what would happen if they all could get into the bus at the same moment.
Kiro: Sometimes it is very strange to be adored so much, You simply don`t understand it. They adore you but they don`t know you.But I wouldn`t call it fright!
In what kind of situations are you buged?
Strify: If we only get one hour for dinner between the interviews during we are in an IT-Hotel and my salad is overpriced, because the Hotel is so hip, but I still have to wait more than one hour until I finally get the salad and I`m really hungry – THEN you can say I´m buged.
Shin: If I don`t get enough time to install my drum-kit.
Yu: If the soundcheck in front of the show is too short, the settings simply do not function and similar things that streches my nerves. But that is the regular situation before a concert starts.
Kiro: That depends! When I`m buged I`m simply leaving. I go to my room or any other place where I can be on my own for a moment!
Do you argue sometimes during touring? What do you quarrel about?
Strify: If you live on top of each other as we are doing it on tour you sometimes simply want to be alone. But as soon as the others are gone you already start to miss them.
Shin: We never had big quarrels! On tour we are like a big family.
Yu: Sure, for example when the others leave all their stuff untouched. They really could clear more often.
Kiro: We don`t sruggle seriously. We`re a little family conflicts simply belong to our situation! But that is not appreciable.
Who is styling the band for the stage? Are they doing it themselfes?
Strify: Until now we did our styling on our own for every single concert.
Romeo: On tour we do the styling and the Make-up ourselfs.
Shin: I`m always looking like that. It is natural! ;-)
Yu: We`re doing the style ourselfs. But since I don`t have eyes on the backside Kiro is helping me with my hairstyle.
Kiro: We`re simply getting up like this in the morning! ;D No, seriously we do everything on ourselfs. Sole exception are spezial events as foto- or videoshootings. Then we have a make-up-artist on site!
What kind of education do you have actually?
Strify: I dropped out of school. I have no spezial qualification or education. I had some small jobs now and then.
Shin: I visited a comprehensive school. But I did not study afterwards.
Romeo: I visited junior high school, later iI learned office administrator and had some jobs. I did some further education in economy ...
Yu: Imy school was fair to middling. Afterwards I started to learn kneader. I did not see a big choice. But I still know enough.
Kiro: I went on a vocational-training-school for economics. I did my vocational baccalaureate diploma!
What are your real names?
Strify: Jack Strify
Shin: SHIN
Yu: My real name is ... (Hu, forget it – I wont tell you!)
All of you are going to get a summoning by German Armed Forces soon. How will you decide then: army or civilian service?
Strify: I don`t have time for both of them. You don`t want to abandon the band for one whole year – do you?
Romeo: I already did civilian service at an hospitelZIVI.
Shin: Band!
Yu: Both are not really my cup of tea!
How do Strify, Kiro und Yu manage it not to get into each others way in the morning? Do you have a plan thatfore?
Strify: Perfect timing – that`s it! But we do it intuitive.
Shin: They only get into each others way when they have time pressure!
Yu: Early worm is eaten by a bird ;-)... (he uses the german saying: Early bird catches the worm)
Kiro: Everything gets on fine ;D
Have you ever been drunk and for what reason?
Strify: Suer! Not only once and not only on New Year`s Eve.
Romeo: Seriously pissed I was two times in my live. Several years have elapsed since then. It is an experience you don`t really need. Keep your fingers of from too much alcohol!!!!!
Yu: Extremely rare ... too rare ;-)
Kiro: You better don`t ask... ;D
Could you ever imagine to do plastic surgery?
Strify: To a certain extent I think plastic surgery is ok But me myself I have never thought about it yet.
Romeo: To be honest .... I don`t have a clue ...
Shin: maybe in 50 years
Yu: Until now I did not question it
Kiro: No, I never thought about it! But as we all know you should never say never!

Com’è nata l’idea di baciarvi sul palco?
Strify: A volte uno è sopraffatto dalla propria passione ed emozioni che poi vuole condividere l’adrenalina con gli altri sul palco.
Yu: Avevo la forte sensazione che Kiro avesse bisogno di affetto :-)
Kiro: Le cose succedono. Inoltre mi piace davvero baciare eccedendo ;D
In realtà, da dove viene il nome Cinema Bizarre?
Strify: La parola “bizarre” è stata il fattore decisivo. Molte persone ci guardano e si chiedono perché appariamo così strani. Una grossa parte di essi hanno sentimenti negativi in proposito. Ma dal nostro punto di vista siamo persone molto normali. Con la parola “bizarre” volevamo dare al nostro aspetto un significato positivo . Su internet abbiamo trovato un utilizzo degli anni 70 che era chiamato “Bizarre Cinema”. Abbiamo invertito le parole e il nostro bambino aveva il suo titolo perfetto. Cinema Bizarre – che non dev’essere solo ascoltato, ma anche visto – come i film.
Shin: Cinema sta per il nostro interesse nei film e negli effetti visivi. Ci chiamiamo “Bizarre” perché le altre persone spesso pensano che siamo strani.
Yu: Il nome è apparso dai film, I film che vediamo nelle nostre menti, in questo mondo bizzarro in cui viviamo giorno dopo giorno.
Kiro: Siamo 5 personaggi molto diversi e insieme vogliamo offrire un grande CINEMA al modo! Non dovreste vedere “Bizarre” come una parola negativa – noi la consideriamo in un modo molto positivo.
Come avete preso i vostri nomi d’arte e cosa significano?
Strify: Yu mi ha dato il mio nome. Gli ricordavo un personaggio chiamato “Cloud Strife” di “Final Fantasy”. Da quell momento mi ha chiamato “Strify”.
Shin: Ho ricevuto il mio nome dagli amici. Pensavano che avessi un’affinità con Shinya (suona in una band giapponese).
Yu: Il mio nome ha diverse radici. Da una parte uno dei miei personaggi Mangaka preferiti è Yukiru Sugisaki.Dall’altra parte c’erano alcuni personaggi Manga/Anime chiamati Yuki e mi si addicevano sempre. Da Yukiru o Yuki più tardi abbiamo creato semplicemente Yu per lo stile.
Kiro: Sono stato chiamato così a causa della scimmia di peluche di Strify che si chiama Siro. Più tardi è stato cambiato con Kiro!
Com’è apparso il fatto che Luminor abbia lasciato la band? C’è ancora comunicazione tra lui e la band?
Strify: Luminor è sempre stato un solitario. Aveva bisogno di più spazio per sè di quanto lui stesso abbia mai creduto. Non poteva tener testa alla situazione per lungo tempo. Questo lo ha fatto star male in un certo senso, quindi ha deciso di lasciare la band.
Kiro: Luminor stava davvero male! Speriamo che presto stia meglio! A volte simo ancora in contatto.
Shin: La sua salute è peggiorata. Questa è la ragione per cui ha dovuto lasciare la band. A volte ci sentiamo.
Yu: Non trovava pace con sè stesso. Spero che vada meglio ora!
Com’è arrivato Romeo nei Cinema Bizarre dopo che Luminor ha lasciato la band?
Yu: In un certo senso romeo era lì sin dall’inizio. E’ un mio buon amico. Sapeva già suonare le nostre canzoni e ci ha offerto il suo aiuto per alcuni concerti. E’ stato la miglior scelta!
Kiro: Conoscevamo Romeo da molto tempo. E’ un buon amico di Yu, è così che l’abbiamo conosciuto! Ogni volta che ci sono stati problemi lui era lì. Siamo molto contenti che ora lui sia parte della band!
E’ vero che Luminor sta già lavorando ad un nuovo progetto musicale?
Strify: Non so nulla in proposito, ma gli auguro tutto il meglio nel suo cammino!
Kiro: Non mi ha mai informato di questo! Ma spero che trovi la sua strada e gli auguro buona fortuna nel suo nuovo cammino!
Ci sono mai stati alcuni momenti in cui avete avuto paura dei vostri fan? In che tipo di situazione vi siete sentiti così?
Strify: I fan non mi hanno mai spaventato. Non ho paura di una singola persona. Ma se sei seduto in una macchina ed è circondata da folle di persone, quello potrebbe essere un po’ intimidatorio.
Yu: A volte ;-). Quando non attraversiamo la folla in bus, per esempio, perchè I fan sono semplicemente ovunque. In un senso questo è molto eccitante e in un altro senso ti chiedi cosa potrebbe succedere se potessero entrare nel bus nello stesso istante.
Kiro: A volte è davvero strano essere adorati così tanto, semplicemente non lo capisci. Ti adorano ma non ti conoscono. Ma non la chiamerei paura!
In che tipo di situazioni siete infastiditi?
Strify: Se abbiamo solo un’ora per cenare tra le interviste mentre siamo in un IT-Hotel(non so che signifihi O__o) e la mia insalata è eccessivamente costosa, perchè l’hotel è rinnomato, ma devo comunque aspettare più di un’ora prima di ottenere finalmente l’insalata e sono davvero molto affamato – ALLORA si può dire che sono infastidito.
Shin: Se non ho abbastanza tempo per montare la mia batteria.
Yu: Se il soundcheck prima dello show è troppo breve, I settings semplicemente non funzionano e cose simili, questo mi da sui nervi. Ma questa è la situazione regolare prima che un concerto inizi.
Kiro: Dipende! Quando sono infastidito, semplicemente me ne vado. Vado nella mia stanza o qualsiasi altro posto dove posso stare da solo per un momento!
Litigate qualche volta durante il tour? Su cosa discutete?
Strify: Se vivi a così stretto contatto con gli altri, come facciamo noi durante il tour, a volte vuoi semplicemente stare da solo. Ma non appena gli altri se ne vanno, inizi già a sentire la loro mancanza.
Shin: Non abbiamo mai avuto grosse discussioni! In tour siamo come una grande famiglia.
Yu: Ovvio, per esempio quando gli altri lasciano tutte le loro cose in disordine. Potrebbero realmente pulire più spesso.
Kiro: Non discutiamo seriamente. Siamo una piccolo famiglia e a volte capita di discutere! Ma non è così importante.
Chi cura lo style della band per il palco? Lo fate da soli?
Strify: Fino ad ora ci siamo occupati del nostro style da soli per ogni singolo concerto.
Romeo: In tour ci vestiamo e trucchiamo da soli.
Shin: Sono sempre così / ho sempre quell’aspetto. E’ naturale! ;-)
Yu: Creiamo il nostro style da soli. Ma dato che non ho occhi anche dietro, Kiro mi aiuta a fare I capelli.
Kiro: semplicemente ci svegliamo così la mattina! ;D No, seiamente facciamo tutto da soli. L’unica eccezione sono eventi speciali come i servizi fotografici – o le riprese dei video. In quel caso abbiamo un make-up-artist sul luogo!
Che tipo di educazione (intende scolastica) avete attualmente?
Strify: Io ho lasciato la scuola. Non ho nessuna particolare qualifica o educazione. Ho fatto qualche lavoretto qua e là.
Shin: Io ho frequentato un comprensorio. Ma poi non ho più studiato.
Romeo: Io ho frequentato la scuola media, poi ho imparato a fare l’impiegato efatto qualche lavoro. Ho fatto qualche studio in più in economia…
Yu: Ho fatto la scuola media. Poi ho iniziato ad imparare a fare massaggi. Non avevo molta scelta. Ma a volte sono ancora intelligente.
Kiro: Io ho frequentato una scuola professionale per l’economia. Lì ho ottenuto la laurea specialistica nel campo della formazione.
Quali sono i vostri veri nomi?
Strify: Jack Strify
Shin: SHIN
Yu: Il mio vero nome è … (Hu, scordatelo – non te lo dirò!)
Perché “Spaceman” e “The other people” non sono mai apparse in un album?
Strify: Perché "The other people” è proprio come “Escape to the stars” , un singolo.
Yu: Perché un singolo ha bisogno di affetto.
Kiro: Non siamo riusciti a mettere tutte le canzoni su un unico album e abbiamo deciso di metterle come bonus tracks nei singoli oppure nelle edizioni speciali!
Tutti voi riceverete presto la chiamata dall’esercito Tedesco. Cosa deciderete di fare a quell punto: esercito o servizio civile?
Strify: Non ho tempo per entrambi. Tu non lasceresti la band per un intero anno – no?
Romeo: Io ho già fatto servizio civile in un ospedale.
Shin: Band!
Yu: Nessuno dei due fa per me!
Come fate Strify, Kiro e Yu a non intralciarvi la mattina? Avete un piano per questo?
Strify: Tempismo perfetto – tutto qui! Ma lo facciamo intuitivamente.
Shin: Si intralciano solamente quando hanno poco tempo!
Yu: L’uccello più mattiniero prende il verme ;-)
Kiro: Tutto va alla perfezione ;D
Vi siete mai ubriacati e perché?
Strify: Ovvio! Non solo una volta e non solo a capodanno.
Romeo: Seriamente ubriaco solo due volte in vita mia. E sono passati molti anni. E’ un’esperienza di cui non hai realmente bisogno. Tenete le mani lontano da troppo alcol!!!!!
Yu: Estremamente raro…troppo raro ;-)
Kiro: E’ meglio che non lo chiedi… ;D
Potreste mai immaginare di ricorrere alla chirurgia plastica?
Strify: In un certo modo credo che la chirurgia plastica sia ok. Ma io personalmente non ci ho ancora mai pensato.
Romeo: Ad essere sincero…non m’interessa…
Shin: Magari tra 50 anni
Yu: Fino ad ora non me lo sono mai chiesto
Kiro: No, non ci ho mai pensato! Ma come tutti sappiamo, mai dire mai!
